Greg Hale, Queensland, Australia
" I have been interested in photography for almost 60 years, starting at the age of 12 with a Kodak Box Brownie. I later began developing and printing in the bathroom of my parent's home, a short time later graduating to a dark room under our home. The red light and smell of the chemicals is now a distant memory. After leaving school and commencing work, I purchased my first 35mm camera. As the years went by I kept upgrading my cameras, and today I enjoy the 'wonderful world of digital photography' with my Sony A700. I enjoy all styles of photography, but my true passion is in 'landscape' photography. It provides a never-ending challenge and I continue to learn every day."
Carol Haberle, Tasmania, Australia
"My love of photography started as a teenager, but it wasn't until three years ago when I received my first DSLR (an entry level DSLR) that it became a true passion. I have now graduated to a Sony A700 and with thanks to Greg, who through patience and understanding, has taught me so much about both my camera and photography in general, I now look at the world in a totally different perspective. Living in Tasmania gives me many opportunities to focus on the style I favour, landscapes. I love our Tasmanian Rainforests and the Tarkine wilderness, and together with my husband Kevin, I spend many hours with camera in hand, mountain climbing and bushwalking."
Our friendship formed through our love of photography, particularly landscapes. Together we have combined our 'skills' and formed "Haberle PhotoCards", and now bring to you a range of unique 'everyday' and 'landscape' photo cards.
